Responsible to the CEO by providing confidential administrative and project support to the CEO and the Board of Directors. Office operational support, maintains TOTA’s centralized filing system and reception duties.

Responsible for the integrity of the Association’s financials, producing timely and accurate financial statements, forecasts, analysis and corporate reporting; and manages the Corporate Services functions including IT, Performance Measurement, HR and Purchasing.

Responsible for maintaining accounts receivable and payable functions, as well as assisting the Corporate & Finance Officer. Develops and implements a plan to measure TOTA’s performance, prepares information to meet TOTA’s and Destination BC’s reporting requirements, increases the efficiency of TOTA’s administrative processes and maximizes the effectiveness of TOTA’s database systems.

Responsible for Regional Experience Development including Living Well — Regional Rail Trails; Aboriginal Tourism and the Wonder of Winter Sector Collaborative. Oversight for the design of the Charter of Sustainability and assisting in the delivery of the new Remarkable Experiences Program initiative with Destination BC.

Responsible for developing a cultural tourism strategy in alignment with TOTA’s Embracing Our Potential and Aboriginal Tourism Association of British Columbia’s The Next Phase plans. Embracing a rich history filled with traditional stories and beliefs, the endeavour is to develop economic opportunities and progress Aboriginal tourism business within the region.

Working with our Experiences Development Lead, responsibilities in this role will include creating a market ready inventory of businesses along the KVR Rail Trail, Mapping, Visitor Tracking, Building Partnerships with the First Nations along the KVR, working with the Off Road Vehicle Users requirements and identifying and planning events leading up to the Canada 150 celebrations.
