Thank you to all our delegates, sponsors, auction donors, and speakers who made the 2016 Summit a great success! Over 200 stakeholders joined us at Predator Ridge from November 23rd-24th for two full days of engaging speakers, insightful content, and progress made towards our 10 Year Regional Strategy.
From the lively opening reception hosted by Tourism Vernon, to Mike Tyler’s inspiring Keynote presentation about Mobile Moments, and an emphasis on improving our digital fluency within the Sharing Economy, the 2016 Summit has set the bar for future excellence.
See below for highlights:
Our thanks as well to the presenters at the AGM including Destination BC- Marsha Walden, CEO and Alison McKay, Manager Destination Development; as well as TIA BC – Walt Judas, CEO.
The opening reception on Wednesday November 23rd was hosted by Tourism Vernon and did not disappoint. From food stations featuring local bites to refreshing beverages sponsored by Black Press, fun was had by all in attendance.
