Welcome to the Thompson Okanagan

Representing, Training, & Developing a Sustainable Tourism Future

The Thompson Okanagan region is situated on the traditional, unceded territory of three Interior Salish nations: the Syilx, Secwépemc, and Nlaka'pamux peoples.

TOTA is a leader in destination management and works collaboratively with stakeholders, government agencies, and tourism partners to drive sustainable tourism development, provide training and resources, address industry needs, and work with partners and industry to establish the region as a premier travel destination.

Founded in 1965, The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) has been at the forefront of shaping the region’s tourism strategy, bringing together stakeholders from all sectors to develop innovative solutions for sustainable growth for the region.
