Services included in the annual membership:

A Designated Program Success Advisor - 1-on-1 support to train Biosphere member leads and employees on the sustainability management software, identify SDG actions and activities, and conduct bi-annual check in meetings to monitor your Biosphere journey and provide recommendations.

Biosphere Sustainability Management Software

Monitor the status of your organization's Biosphere plan and your sustainability assessment in relation to the 17 SDGs. Receive up to date reports on your organization's compliance, first towards Biosphere commitment and later towards Biosphere certification.

A designated FortisBC Energy Analyst

1-on-1 consultation for Biosphere Committed Members to conduct energy assessments and receive feedback and recommendations on purchasing energy efficient machines with rebate options to increase cost savings.

Employer support, resources & training (delivered by go2HR)

Human resources (HR), health and safety, and mental health support, resources and training for tourism and hospitality employers.

Invasive-Wise Tourism Program Certificate

Free 30-minute online course and online test for tourism operators to become certified by ISCBC. Completion of the program includes:

·Knowledge of high-priority invasive species in British Columbia

·Easy to follow best practices that can be incorporated into operations to stop the spread of invasive species

·Invasive-Wise certification and promotion through ISCBC’s website and social media channels

·Free access to resources developed by invasive species experts and tourism industry leaders (including brochures, stickers, decals, signage, and direct support from ISCBC).
