Host: Forest Enhancement Society of BC (FESBC)
The Forest Enhancement Society of BC (FESBC) will be accepting applications to fund projects to assist the Province of British Columbia in reducing wildfire risk and increasing community resiliency to wildfire across BC. FESBC is committed to ensure wildfire risk reduction projects approved by the FESBC board are aligned with both the Ministry of Forests and the BC Wildfire Services Branch priorities and standards. In addition, FESBC is looking to fund projects that minimize emissions associated with open burning by incorporating measures that will increase the levels of waste wood utilization. FESBC gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Forests.
On June 28th at 2:00 pm (PST), FESBC will host a virtual information session via Zoom for potential applicants to review the application process on the Forest Enhancement Society’s Information Management System and the guidebook.
