About the Biosphere Sustainable Lifestyle Platform

TOTA is collaborating with the Responsible Tourism Institute (RTI) to improve sustainability of tourism businesses in the Thompson Okanagan region.

RTI has developed the Biosphere Sustainable Lifestyle, a framework to help tourism businesses walk the path of sustainability.

This easy-to-use digital platform helps companies develop and execute a Sustainable Tourism Plan based on the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The system helps businesses to translate these long-term goals into tangible actions and activities.
