Michael J. Ballingall
Michael J. Ballingall is the Senior Vice President of Big White Ski Resort LTD. Michael J., as he is known throughout the adventure tourism industry, has built a successful career in hospitality, resort services, sales, and marketing. His teams have proven track records with strategies for North America, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, and he has helped steer the resort from just under 200,000 skier visits in 1995 to now over 650,000 and 10,000 on mountain pillows.
Michael J. is very dedicated and passionate about the Thompson Okanagan. He sits on many boards that he sees beneficial to the area's tourism industry including the Tourism Industry Association of British Columbia, Tourism Kelowna, the Canadian Ski Council. As well, he is President of the Tourism Big White Society, Chair of the TELUS Interior and Northern BC Community Board.
Michael is the current Chair of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association.
