Lara hails from Penticton, where her passion for the wine industry blossomed. After gaining valuable experience in the Okanagan Wine Industry, she pursued a degree in Hospitality Management at George Brown College in Toronto. Seeking to broaden her horizons, Lara completed her Business Degree at the Hotel Institute of Montreux in Switzerland.

Her career took her to Dubai with the Intercontinental Hotel Group, and later to the Four Seasons Hotel Group in Toronto and the iconic Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles, where she worked as a senior Food and Beverage Events Manager. In 2020, Lara returned to the Okanagan to open the Tasting Room at Phantom Creek, combining her love for wine with her expertise in hospitality.

Driven by a keen interest in marketing, Lara earned a certificate in Digital Marketing from BCIT. She spent two years at Poplar Grove Winery and provided marketing consulting for the Naramata Bench Wineries Association. Recently, she has stepped into the role of Channel Marketing Manager for the Western Estates at Andrew Peller Limited, overseeing properties like Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, Black Hills Estate, Red Rooster Winery, Sandhill Wines, and Gray Monk Estate Winery.

After years of travel, Lara is thrilled to be back in the Okanagan, where she collaborates closely with industry partners, fueled by a passion for nurturing and advancing the BC wine industry.
